This steak is for serious steak eaters only! It is a rib steak trimmed with about 5” of bone left intact. Juicy and tender are the main characteristics of this mammoth steak. It’s also called the Cowboy Steak, for those manly appetites.
The approximate size of each steak is 1.5 kg.

There are not a lot of ingredients or fuss about preparing a rib steak like this. Season both sides with kosher or Himalayan Salt and plenty of cracked black pepper. You can also rub a fresh garlic bulb on both sides, in addition to any steak seasoning. Once you remove it, it will continue to cook on the cutting board while resting. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes to seal all of the juices back into the meat before serving.
